As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be the connective layer between sourcing and operations for healthcare data partnerships. You will convert sourced healthcare data partners into active deals and grow value across the live partner portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead qualification of newly sourced healthcare data partners and assess dataset quality, modality relevance, partner sophistication, and commercial potential
- Run partner discovery and due diligence calls; coordinate NDA execution and sample intake
- Synthesize partner, modality, and market insights to provide internal teams with clear visibility of opportunities and industry trends
- Recommend partner tiering based on dataset quality, uniqueness, scale, licensing, and strategic value
- Support deal structuring with Commercial and move partners into activation
- Proactively socialize partner data assets with internal teams (Commercial, Data Lab, Solutions)
- Drive transition planning into Healthcare Operations for smooth onboarding
- Translate customer feedback and market signals into value-creation initiatives
- Support portfolio growth planning including QBRs and structured partner engagement forums
- Develop creative partnership structures for larger strategic opportunities
- Independently manage lower-tier partners and maintain engagement cadences
- Serve as escalation point for portfolio partners
- Systemize workflows for partner documentation and tracking
- Apply data-driven lens to portfolio to build insights on partnership effectiveness and scalability
You will partner closely with the Head of Healthcare Partnerships, Data Lab, Commercial, and Healthcare Operations. Success metrics include learning the portfolio within 30 days, consistently moving partners through evaluation and activation within 60 days, and deepening partner value while launching strategic initiatives within 90 days.
Ideal candidates have experience in strategic partnerships, partner management, business development, or deal execution in fast-moving environments. You should excel at moving external relationships from early interest into structured execution, prioritize collaborative partnerships, demonstrate excellent judgment in qualification and stakeholder management, and be organized and execution-oriented with ability to coordinate multiple cross-functional workstreams.
