Talkiatry is the largest dedicated psychiatry practice in the U.S., operating a technology-powered, in-network platform with 750+ psychiatrists and 250+ therapists delivering over two million patient visits annually. The company is transforming mental health care by making high-quality psychiatry more accessible and sustainable for both patients and clinicians. This Strategic Partnerships Director role is a true hunter position focused on building new health system partnerships within the Northeast territory. You will own the complete partnership lifecycle—from prospecting and relationship development through discovery, executive presentations, negotiation, and successful launch. This is not an account management role; it requires someone energized by opening doors and building partnerships from the ground up. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a territory strategy to identify and secure new health system partnerships; leveraging and building executive relationships with physician leaders, behavioral health executives, referral management teams, and C-suite stakeholders; navigating complex health system organizations to build consensus across multiple stakeholders; maintaining deep knowledge of the health system landscape, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities; and developing systematic approaches to territory planning, prospecting, and pipeline management. You will represent Talkiatry as a behavioral health thought partner, articulating industry trends, healthcare economics, and the company's value in improving access and patient outcomes. Cross-functional collaboration with Clinical, Operations, Legal, Product, and Executive Leadership is essential to design and launch successful partnerships. You will also represent Talkiatry at industry conferences and professional networks to strengthen market presence and generate new opportunities. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven business development leader with an established network of health system executives and physician leaders. You are energized by prospecting and relationship building, have a proven track record of independently driving complex opportunities from initial outreach through successful launch, and understand the unique challenges facing health systems. You build trust through insight, persistence, and high emotional intelligence rather than high-pressure sales tactics. You navigate health system complexity and politics effectively, building consensus across diverse stakeholders, and demonstrate strong bias toward action and accountability.
