Granted is a seed-stage healthtech company ($17M funded) building an AI-powered platform to help Americans navigate healthcare bills, fight claim denials, correct billing errors, and negotiate lower costs. Founded by a former Oscar Health leader and backed by investors including Hugging Face, Rocket Money, and RRE Ventures, the company is solving a critical pain point in the US healthcare system.
You'll be the foundational Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Lead, reporting directly to the CEO. Your mission is to build Granted's distribution engine through partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem—benefit brokers, employers, payers, TPAs, and related stakeholders. You'll own the full BD lifecycle: identifying and prioritizing high-potential verticals, sourcing and qualifying leads, driving complex multi-month deal cycles, and closing pilot partnerships. The company has already launched its first pilot with a major benefit broker, validating market demand; your role is to move from exploration to repeatable, scalable execution.
Key responsibilities include building and managing a robust BD pipeline, leading high-touch sales cycles (2–12 months), collaborating with marketing and product to develop compelling pitch decks and partnership materials, establishing the infrastructure and playbooks (CRM, sales ops, outreach) to scale the channel motion, and serving as Granted's external face with partners—credible, consultative, and relentless in follow-through.
You'll thrive here if you bring 4–6+ years of healthcare partnerships, business development, or strategy experience, ideally from a high-performance background (top-tier undergrad, MBA, consulting, or venture-backed startup). You must have a proven track record closing complex, high-value deals and strong project management discipline. Nice-to-haves include early-stage startup experience, exposure to employer benefits or insurance tech, and a network within healthcare systems, brokers, or payers. Above all, you care deeply about the problem Granted solves and want to build something that matters.
