Reserv is an insurtech company founded by insurance veterans and backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures. The company is building AI and automation technology to modernize claims processing, addressing long-standing inefficiencies in the industry. The Strategic Operations team sits at the intersection of Claims Operations, Account Management, Product, and Finance, owning initiatives that drive margin improvement and service delivery. As Strategic Operations Lead, you will drive operational efficiency and support key strategic initiatives across the organization. Key responsibilities include: **Strategic Operator:** Own strategic initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing through implementation. Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with senior leadership. Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams spanning product, engineering, claims, and account management. **Data-Driven Analysis:** Build quantitative and qualitative cases to size problems and opportunities. Work across claims, finance, account, and operational data. Translate findings into defensible recommendations for leadership decision-making. **Leading with Influence:** Drive initiatives through senior stakeholders by building trust and convening teams. Communicate status and trade-offs proactively. Make data-driven resource allocation decisions and course-correct before plans slip. **Results-Oriented Delivery:** Deliver tangible business change rather than recommendations alone. Manage work to performance metrics. Verify changes land in practice, collect feedback, and apply learnings to future initiatives. The role spans the organization—from gross margin improvement for business lines to operating standards and systems. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems and contributing to an innovative company's growth. **Requirements:** - At least 2 years in management consulting, operational transformation, operations management, or strategic planning roles - Experience running cross-functional work against dates and communicating to senior leadership - Detail-oriented and organized; comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously - Active use of AI tools in your own work and interest in applying them to operations and analysis - Strong quantitative skills; comfort building analysis independently and working fluently in business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred - Claims or insurance experience is helpful but not required - Must reside in an eligible U.S. state (not California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States)
