AlertMedia is a Risk Intelligence and Response company helping organizations protect their people and businesses by identifying emerging threats and enabling timely communication during emergencies. The company is seeking a Strategic Intelligence Analyst to join the Global Intelligence team, focusing on the Americas region (United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean). In this role, you will leverage open-source intelligence, analytical tradecraft, and various intelligence sources to identify, assess, and communicate risks associated with future events, geopolitical developments, global trends, and activist movements. A primary focus will be monitoring and assessing planned and emerging events across the Americas, including demonstrations, protests, labor actions, counter-protests, political rallies, and major public gatherings that may create operational, travel, safety, or reputational impacts for organizations. You will serve as a regional intelligence resource for the Americas, maintaining awareness of elections, political developments, civil unrest, labor activity, security incidents, and emerging regional trends. You will produce timely intelligence alerts and assessments, contribute to recurring intelligence products and reporting (including weekly briefs and situation reports), and help customers understand what is happening, why it matters, and what impacts may follow. Key responsibilities include: utilizing open-source intelligence and collection tools to identify and monitor planned events and emerging risks; monitoring demonstrations, protests, labor strikes, and activism-related activity; serving as the primary intelligence resource for Americas-focused areas of responsibility; researching and analyzing complex events to produce timely intelligence products; contributing to recurring intelligence reporting; evaluating information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and timeliness; and collaborating with colleagues across the Global Intelligence Team to refine methodologies and enhance analytical processes. This is a remote, U.S.-based position with a shift of Tuesday–Saturday, 9am–5pm CT. The role requires commitment to the agreed-upon shift with flexibility for evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed to support the 24/7 team. Note: AlertMedia does not currently hire candidates residing in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, or Wyoming. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must have existing authorization to work in the U.S. **Requirements:** - 3–5 years of professional experience in intelligence analysis, strategic intelligence, geopolitical risk, security operations, international relations, risk analysis, or a related field requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong analytical judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate evolving situations, identify relevant information, establish priorities, and communicate accurate intelligence under time constraints - Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to transform complex information into clear, concise, and actionable intelligence products for diverse audiences - Strong research and synthesis skills, including the ability to quickly evaluate multiple sources, develop subject-matter familiarity, and produce organized, objective analysis - Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, including the ability to validate information and assess source credibility - Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies, social media monitoring, and intelligence collection tools - Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain situational awareness across a broad geographic portfolio with minimal supervision - A willing partner in giving and receiving feedback on product, process, and performance - Professional Spanish reading proficiency is preferred; Portuguese proficiency is a plus - Experience monitoring or analyzing risk in the Americas is preferred
