Fi is a Series B pet-tech company building real-time location tracking, activity monitoring, and behavior analytics for pet owners. The company is staffed by alumni from Square, Google, TikTok, Peloton, and Uber, and is focused on transforming pet ownership through technology.
As Strategic Finance Associate, you will deliver strategic financial analysis and insight to support Fi's scaling phase. You'll own the company's sales forecasts, financial models, and unit economics, working closely with leadership and the data team to drive ROI-positive initiatives and inform high-stakes business decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and maintain Fi's sales forecasts, financial models, and unit economics to support leadership decision-making
- Partner with the Data team to define, analyze, and report core business KPIs and key drivers of consumer behavior
- Prepare clear, decision-ready reporting for leadership and investors
- Work closely with Accounting to ensure financial accuracy, alignment, and clarity across the business
- Partner with the executive team on strategic initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and scaling efforts, bringing financial rigor to the company's highest-impact opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, private equity, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment
- Strong financial modeling skills, including three-statement models, forecasting, and unit economics; advanced Excel fluency required
- Working knowledge of ROI, LTV/CAC, GAAP, and modern analytics tools such as Tableau or SQL; VBA a plus
- Structured, forward-looking thinker who can balance multiple priorities, bring clarity to complex situations, and translate messy data into sound decisions
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and synthesizing inputs from across the business into a coherent financial narrative
- Empathetic, collaborative partner who values diverse perspectives and supports teammates through strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong belief in measurement and accountability as the foundation for influence and impact
