Assured is modernizing insurance claims processing, which is currently manual and inefficient. The company provides software solutions to large insurers for claims filing, fraud detection, and backend processing. We're seeking an Accounting Manager to join the finance team and own day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• ERP System Ownership: Manage the newly implemented Rillet accounting ERP system, ensuring integrations function properly, automatic entries are accurate, and data integrity is maintained.
• Expense & Transaction Processing: Own Ramp transaction processing and employee reimbursement workflows, ensuring accurate coding and proper ERP synchronization.
• Accounts Payable: Manage the full AP process including vendor communication, invoice processing and payment, W9 collection and storage, and 1099 issuance.
• Balance Sheet Management: Own all balance sheet schedules including prepaids, accrued expenses, fixed assets, and related reconciliations.
• Payroll Reconciliation: Review payroll entries from Rippling with correct cost allocations and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Accounts Receivable: Post AR payments and reconcile outstanding balances.
• Financial Analysis: Perform monthly flux analysis and file sales and use tax.
• Ad-hoc Support: Handle additional tasks as the role evolves and business needs change.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-7 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Comfortable working with ERP systems and expense management platforms (Ramp experience preferred)
• Solid grasp of GAAP standards and core accounting practices
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
• Proactive, motivated, and able to take ownership independently
