Everlab is building the world's most trusted preventive health company. As Strategic Clinical Operations Manager, you will own the performance loop for clinical delivery end-to-end, answering the core question: how good is our clinical delivery right now, and how do we make it measurably better every week?
You will operate across three core areas:
**Clinical Quality & Excellence**: Own the performance of the doctor network including consult quality, clinical outcomes, appropriateness of recommendations, and member experience. Build the machinery that makes clinical excellence repeatable—rubrics, benchmarks, spotlights, and playbooks drawn from best practices. Partner with the CMO, Clinical People Lead, and clinical leadership to drive excellent outcomes.
**Clinical Team Workflows**: Map how clinical work flows today across consults, results review, member follow-up, escalations, and admin. Identify where time and quality leak. Redesign workflows by removing steps, automating what can be automated, and clearly documenting what remains. Partner with Product and Engineering to translate workflow problems into tooling improvements with clear-eyed impact versus effort assessment. Run change properly through pilots, measurement, and rollout with training and communication.
**Clinical Operations Metrics & Reporting**: Build and own the metric layer for clinical operations covering consult quality, clinical outcomes, utilisation, turnaround times, NPS, and cost to serve. Define what good looks like by setting targets, thresholds, and traffic lights. Build dashboards and reporting rhythms that give clinical leadership a clear weekly read on performance. Turn analysis into decisions—every metric should have an owner, target, and obvious next action.
You are part analyst, part operator, part coach. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Melbourne or Sydney, with the team working from the office three days per week.
**Requirements**: 3+ years at a top-tier strategy consultancy (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or equivalent with a track record of strong performance and rapid progression. Alternatively, experienced doctors with demonstrated management or startup experience. You must be proactive—spotting problems, scoping them, and bringing recommendations without waiting for a brief. Strong analytical skills with comfort in data and spreadsheets; ability to structure ambiguous problems cleanly and build arguments from data. Bias for action and comfort with ambiguity in a build role within a fast-moving company. Clear and direct communication in writing and in person; ability to compress complex analysis into one-page recommendations. Ability to operate at multiple altitudes—helping set high-level strategy and executing tactically. Deep alignment with Everlab's mission to build the world's most trusted preventive health company. Nice to have: operating experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups, or background/deep interest in healthcare, health tech, or clinical services.
