Rockbot is an omnichannel media platform that helps physical businesses—retailers, restaurants, hospitality venues, healthcare providers, and convenience stores—modernize customer engagement and monetize in-store media. The company provides integrated solutions spanning music, TV, digital signage, and advertising, backed by investors including Google and Universal Music Group.
This Strategic Business Development Representative role is not a high-volume BDR position but rather a strategic, research-driven function focused on enterprise opportunity creation. You will serve as an extension of the Enterprise Sales organization, partnering closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and Enterprise Sales Directors to identify, prioritize, and engage the world's largest brands in retail, hospitality, restaurants, convenience, grocery, and healthcare sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building strategic enterprise pipeline across multi-location industries through thoughtful research and personalized outreach
- Researching target accounts, organizational structures, business initiatives, leadership changes, and retail media investments
- Mapping buying committees to identify executive sponsors, decision makers, champions, and technical stakeholders
- Executing personalized multi-channel outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone, events, and referrals
- Developing and executing strategic account pursuit plans with leadership
- Maintaining Salesforce hygiene and accurate account/activity/opportunity data
You should have 2–5 years of business development, sales development, or enterprise prospecting experience, with a track record of generating qualified enterprise opportunities through outbound prospecting. Strong written and verbal communication, research, organization, and follow-through are essential. Proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Apollo, or similar tools is required. Experience selling into multi-location businesses is a plus.
This role rewards curiosity, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Success is measured by creating qualified enterprise opportunities that become long-term strategic customers, not by volume alone.
