Salary: CAD 105,000 - 130,000 / annual

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own relationships with named accounts and develop account success plans focused on expansion opportunities across Tipalti's product suite. You will prospect into both existing customer base and net new accounts to uncover pipeline, drive sales cycles, and close business. Your responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement account plans to maximize expansion opportunities and ensure high customer success standards
• Maintain accurate account and opportunity information in CRM systems
• Leverage systems and tools to engage customers, manage pipeline, and track deal progress using data-driven insights
• Understand customer business needs and align Tipalti solutions to their strategic goals
• Identify business challenges and create tailored solutions using Tipalti services
• Build deep relationships with decision makers and executives, ensuring appropriate engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Implementation, Operations, Product) to develop and execute sales strategies
• Identify and communicate customer knowledge gaps and opportunities for Tipalti products
The role is hybrid in Toronto, requiring office presence Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. You will work in a collaborative culture emphasizing quality, diverse perspectives, and shared success.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 4+ years of experience in Software/SaaS or Financial Tech sales with consistent quota achievement track record
• Undergraduate degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field (or equivalent)
• Previous experience selling to C-Suite executives
• Experience with Emerging Technologies, Digital Economy, and Global Organizations strongly preferred
• Problem-solving capabilities, highly organized, detail-oriented, strong time-management skills
• Proactive, self-starting individual who identifies and pursues opportunities independently
• Demonstrated ability to sell large-scale solutions and achieve sales revenue targets through increased adoption and expanded technology use in existing customer base
• Skilled at fostering strong cross-functional working relationships to develop and execute customer success strategies
• Driven to achieve aggressive goals with equal passion for customer success
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to build and maintain key client relationships
