Salary: AUD 220,000 - 236,000 / annual

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own day-to-day management of a portfolio of complex, fast-moving e-commerce accounts, reporting to the SVP, GM Commercial APAC. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role requiring you to act as a quarterback across product development, commercial strategy, and project execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving measurable growth and product adoption across your book of business while maintaining partner health
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders across product, commercial, operational, and technical workstreams to ensure fast, precise execution
- Leading account planning through Mutual Action Plans, Joint Business Plans, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing executive engagement
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, navigating high-pressure conversations with credibility and commercial rigor
- Using data, structured analysis, and AI-enabled tools to identify growth opportunities, improve program management, and optimize account outcomes

The Strategic Key Accounts team leverages AI to stay expert on partner businesses (tracking earnings calls, leadership changes, shifting priorities), surface growth opportunities early, model commercial impact before pitching, and reduce administrative overhead to maximize client-facing time.
The role requires strong technical and commercial acumen, exceptional organizational and program management skills, and excellent stakeholder management abilities. You will work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where established processes may not exist and problem-solving is expected.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in client success, strategic account management, consulting, partnerships, or related customer-facing commercial role in technology, ecommerce, media, ticketing, travel, payments, or adjacent industries
- Strong technical and commercial acumen with ability to lead sophisticated product conversations, interpret data, partner cross-functionally with Product/Ops/Solutions/GTM teams, and translate complexity into clear client-facing recommendations
- Exceptional organizational and program management skills with proven ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams, maintain high standards under pressure, and create better processes in ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills including ability to build trust with senior client stakeholders, influence cross-functional partners, and handle difficult or high-stakes conversations with composure
