Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize data into actionable intelligence for risk management, compliance, and business growth. The company specializes in multilingual, AI/ML-based solutions for regulated financial institutions.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own the full commercial relationship with a portfolio of complex, highly regulated financial institutions including global banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and energy firms. Your responsibilities span delivery outcomes, commercial performance, executive relationships, and long-term strategic growth.
Your clients are building or strengthening unified controls frameworks that integrate communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management into a single, defensible control system. You will understand where each client sits on their compliance maturity journey, ensure Behavox delivers against current needs, and position the platform to serve their full controls framework scope over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full end-to-end ownership of account relationship, delivery, health, satisfaction, retention, and growth with high autonomy on account strategy, renewals, escalations, and executive relationships
- Account health monitoring and risk identification across commercial, operational, and relationship dimensions; surfacing risk early through ticket patterns, stakeholder signals, and adoption data
- Executive business review design and delivery (QBRs/EBRs) with strategic conversations about compliance posture, regulatory risk, control maturity, and platform value
- Renewal ownership across the portfolio: building retention strategy, leading negotiations, closing deals, and accurately forecasting ARR churn risk with mitigation plans
- Expansion identification and commercial execution, driving inbound expansion deals independently and collaborating with Account Executives
- Delivery follow-through and client communication ownership, ensuring commitments are tracked and fulfilled, translating technical updates into actionable client language
- Escalation management and operational accountability, owning ticket triage and resolution end-to-end with minimal manager involvement
This role requires the ability to think strategically and execute operationally, often in the same day. You will operate with significant autonomy and manage both executive-level strategic relationships and working-level practitioner relationships simultaneously across complex organizational structures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep working knowledge of enterprise compliance technology and unified controls frameworks, specifically how communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management converge into a single control system at regulated financial institutions; understanding of how clients evaluate and mature their compliance posture over time
- Strong understanding of the financial services regulatory environment and regulatory obligations driving client demand, from communications monitoring requirements to trade reconstruction and archiving mandates, across global banking, hedge fund, asset management, and energy sectors
- Demonstrated experience in multi-stakeholder account management across regulated financial institutions, navigating complex organizational structures involving Heads of Surveillance, compliance analysts, technology teams, and operations teams
- Proven commercial lifecycle management experience for enterprise SaaS, including full renewal and expansion cycles: retention strategy, churn forecasting, negotiation, close, and pipeline development in partnership with sales teams; understanding of how delivery health impacts commercial outcomes
- Strong escalation management and operational accountability skills, with ability to own ticket triage, escalation, and resolution end-to-end; experience managing complex, multi-workstream escalations with minimal manager involvement
