In this Strategic Account Development Representative role, you will own a focused portfolio of high-value strategic accounts, working embedded within the account relationship team. This is a depth-over-breadth position emphasizing fewer accounts worked more intensively to maximize win rates and deal size.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own a small book of strategic, long-term accounts and serve as the consistent point of continuity within each relationship.
- Build and maintain live account intelligence: buying groups, stakeholder maps, regulatory drivers, competitive positioning, and change signals to shorten complex sales cycles.
- Originate and progress new business opportunities through consultative discovery and compelling value hypotheses; identify and develop expansion and cross-sell opportunities within existing relationships.
- Establish and maintain trusted, multi-threaded relationships with buying groups up to executive level; orchestrate consistent engagement across commercial and operational contacts.
- Shape well-evidenced opportunities and partner closely with Field Sales and Client Success to progress pipeline, maintaining account context throughout every stage.
- Own accountability for pipeline creation and influence across new business and expansion, using data to track engagement and consistently deliver against goals.
Requirements:
- Mastery-level experience in business development within enterprise markets, or experienced Account Executive seeking a path toward higher-value, more complex selling.
- Proven track record originating and progressing both new business and expansion opportunities within strategic accounts.
- Exceptional discovery skills and strategic thinking with discipline to build and maintain account intelligence over long sales cycles.
- Confident engagement with senior and executive stakeholders across complex, multi-stakeholder financial institutions.
- Natural problem solver who thrives in collaborative account team environments.
