Wolt is a fast-growing delivery platform operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries. This Store Manager role is based in Riga and leads day-to-day operations of a Wolt grocery store location.
You will manage a team of Grocery Associates and Shift Leads, responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members. Key responsibilities include:
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including freshness, inventory, and stock management
• Lead, motivate, and grow the team, creating an environment where colleagues can perform at their best
• Conduct 1-on-1s, provide feedback, set performance goals, and track progress
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety compliance, and collaboration with local service providers
• Manage shift scheduling and staffing
• Monitor shrink levels and food waste
• Implement global processes and share best practices across locations
• Develop and improve operational efficiency to support fast delivery and smooth operations
• Maintain flexibility to respond quickly to business needs
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you'll balance strategic oversight with day-to-day execution.
Requirements:
• Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop others
• Experience working in a grocery store (preferred)
• Fast learner capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment
• Tech-savvy with comfort using data and analytics to drive improvements
• Proactive, service-minded, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends
• Fluent in English and Latvian (required)
• Data-driven and analytical approach to problem-solving
