Salary: USD 80,000 - 90,000 / annual

Rebag (rebag.com) is a venture-backed e-commerce marketplace for buying and selling luxury designer handbags in the secondary market. Founded in 2014 by Harvard Business School alumni and backed by General Catalyst, Novator, Crosslink, and FJLabs, Rebag operates nine physical locations across Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, alongside its online platform. The company has raised $52M in funding and employs approximately 150 people. As Store Director at the World Trade Center location in New York, you will lead and develop the store team to achieve company standards across all operational and sales categories. You will lead by example on the selling floor, proactively coaching and inspiring associates while demonstrating integrity, honesty, and deep product knowledge to reinforce company culture and mission. Key responsibilities include: - Setting clear goals and expectations with the Digital Sales Manager and conducting consistent coaching sessions with associates to review performance and provide timely feedback - Overseeing the annual review process for direct reports - Streamlining and improving the effectiveness of daily store operations - Maintaining thorough understanding of all policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring team adherence and reinforcing the philosophy behind these principles - Driving all aspects of business including front-of-house and back-of-house planning, the Rebag Bar Experience, community networking, and client development - Partnering with the Store Manager and internal teams to develop business goals for the store and omni-channel initiatives, translating them into actionable plans - Routinely monitoring achievement of goals and KPIs You should be reliable in difficult situations with a willingness to take on projects. You have a keen eye for talent, can distinguish between good and high performance, and are passionate about training and development. You will create sustainable talent strategies to fuel continued team growth and are comfortable with technology. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven experience in retail or store management, ideally in luxury or e-commerce environments - Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams - Strong operational and financial acumen - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Experience with omni-channel retail operations - Proficiency with retail technology and systems
