FlixBus is seeking a Stations & Authorizations Manager to establish and expand Flix's station and terminal network in Peru. This is a highly hands-on role combining strategic thinking with extensive field work, reporting to the local Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Sales Manager to define, structure, and deliver key strategic projects related to stations and infrastructure
- Take ownership of Flix's station and terminal strategy across Peru, translating strategic objectives into concrete actions and results
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the bus station, terminal, transportation, and infrastructure industries
- Identify and secure access to the best sales and customer points within existing infrastructure across Peru
- Develop and implement alternative station strategies in cities where access to existing terminals or infrastructure is limited
- Explore opportunities to develop or establish Flix's own station infrastructure where existing solutions are not available
- Continuously evaluate and optimize Flix's station and terminal strategy based on business needs, customer experience, operational requirements, and market opportunities
- Take ownership of the authorization process and ensure that applications are submitted correctly and in a timely manner in accordance with Peruvian legislation
- Ensure stations provide a safe, attractive, and reliable experience for passengers
The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can navigate regulatory requirements, negotiate with external partners, and drive operational excellence across Peru's transportation network.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
- Experience in operations, business development, or related fields in the transportation or infrastructure sector (preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of Peruvian legislation and regulatory environment (beneficial but not strict requirement)
- Willingness to travel extensively across Peru
