- Contribute to the team's shared AI workflows and help improve automation as tools and models evolve
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate complex technical detail into clear, accurate content
- Test software and procedures hands-on; flag product and UX gaps discovered during documentation

- Collaborate with the documentation manager and other writers to improve information architecture, voice, consistency, and discoverability across documentation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, using sound judgment to prioritize and communicate when plans change
- Mentor teammates and share practices that elevate team quality

- Hands-on experience using AI tools and models in your writing workflow (LLM assistants, agentic coding tools, custom prompts), with ability to explain how you evaluate and verify their output
- Experience with docs-as-code: command-line Git, GitHub (pull requests and reviews), Markdown, and common IDEs
- Comfort working in technical environments; ability to set up, run, and troubleshoot software yourself (command line, containers, Kubernetes, or willingness to learn quickly)
- Experience collaborating with engineers and product managers to obtain accurate technical information
- Experience working remotely and asynchronously on distributed teams
- Bonus: Experience with observability, monitoring, cloud-native tooling, or open source documentation contributions
