Mainspring Energy manufactures fuel-flexible, low-emissions local power solutions for Fortune 500 companies, data centers, and utilities. The company has been shipping commercial products since 2020 and partners with major energy leaders including AEP, NextEra Energy Resources, and Schneider Electric.
You will serve as Staff Technical Program Manager, driving high-stakes facility expansion, supplier expansion, and readiness programs. This is a company-wide scope role managing the execution of manufacturing scale-up initiatives, orchestrating cross-functional dependencies across infrastructure, procurement, and supply chain teams.
Key responsibilities include:
**Factory & Manufacturing Readiness:** Orchestrate end-to-end program lifecycle for existing and new manufacturing facilities, including Capex, infrastructure, and permitting, with or without Contract Manufacturers. Facilitate cross-functional alignment to ensure all systems, processes, and sites are production-ready for scale.
**Supplier Readiness & Alignment:** Lead program-level synchronization of supplier capacity and inventory positioning. Coordinate with strategic sourcing, materials management, and engineering partners to resolve alignment issues and manage planning and replenishment model implementation for long-lead-time parts and quality control integration.
**Systems, Process, & Operational Excellence:** Define and optimize operational frameworks and tools enabling cross-functional efficiency. Standardize execution methods and processes to prevent bottlenecks in complex multi-disciplinary programs.
**Program Ownership & Risk Management:** Own the program decision-making process. Proactively identify risks across factory, supplier, and operational workstreams, leading cross-functional teams in developing and executing mitigation strategies.
**Executive & Stakeholder Communication:** Synthesize complex data from multiple workstreams into clear, actionable updates for leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on program health and critical path items.
**Organizational Readiness & Expansion:** Program-manage organizational growth initiatives, including resource planning, hiring pipelines, and training programs, to ensure teams are fully scaled and equipped to support operational objectives.
**Requirements:**
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, industrialization, or large-scale supply chain program management
- Expertise in factory startup, facility permitting, and capital expenditure oversight
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, inventory management, and contract negotiation for complex hardware programs
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with experience in production modeling, capacity planning, and quality control systems
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and manage complex, multi-disciplinary programs in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
