Snowflake is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact initiatives within AppEx, the organization responsible for developer-facing surfaces including Streamlit, Notebooks, Native Apps, and Cortex Code. This is a hybrid role based in Menlo Park or Bellevue, splitting time between on-site collaboration and remote work. In this role, you will define and own program strategy for AppEx's most critical initiatives spanning application surfaces, developer tooling, AI-powered experiences, and the underlying platform from conception through launch and adoption. You will lead cross-functional programs that span multiple AppEx sub-organizations (Applications, Notebooks, Native Apps, Drivers, AIML, Developer Platform) and extend into partner teams across Snowflake, driving alignment where no single team owns the outcome. Key responsibilities include partnering with Directors, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Principal Engineers to shape multi-quarter roadmaps and build execution plans that handle real-world complexity. You will drive cross-org decisions on shared APIs, integration points, and developer-facing launches touching multiple product surfaces. You will diagnose systemic friction in how AppEx plans and delivers, designing operating mechanisms—including AI-assisted workflows—that improve engineering velocity and predictability. You will represent AppEx programs to executive leadership with clear, data-backed narratives and recommendations. Additionally, you will mentor other TPMs and establish practices the wider organization adopts, raising the bar for technical program management across AppEx. Snowflake emphasizes an AI-native mindset: the company seeks individuals who treat AI as a high-trust collaborator core to problem-solving, possess low ego, thrive in dynamic fast-moving environments, and move with an experimental mindset to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years of technical program management experience, ideally at a cloud software company, with a track record of owning complex, multi-team programs end to end - Experience leading programs at organization-wide scope where success depended on aligning several teams with competing priorities and no shared reporting line - Deep familiarity with developer-facing products or platform engineering and understanding of building great developer experiences at scale - Strong technical depth: ability to work directly with engineers and architects, go deep on system design and dependencies, and keep execution on track - Proven ability to influence without authority across Engineering, Product, Design, and Go-to-Market - Comfort operating in ambiguity, defining structure and direction where none exists, and making progress before all answers are clear - Excellent written and verbal communication, effective with engineers, executive stakeholders, and all levels - Experience with modern cloud-native software development including CI/CD, release management, and API-first development - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience delivering AI/ML or generative AI products such as LLM-powered features, agentic applications, or AI developer tooling - Working familiarity with GenAI concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation, agents, model evaluation, and inference cost tradeoffs - Habit of using AI tools in own work to plan, track, and communicate programs - Hands-on experience with Snowflake, data platforms, or developer tooling products such as Streamlit, Notebooks, Native Apps, Cortex, or Spark - Experience driving developer ecosystem programs such as SDKs, drivers, or work adjacent to developer relations - Track record of building data-driven program health mechanisms that leadership relies on for decisions - Experience in high-growth technology company environment
