Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Staff Test & Evaluation (T&E) Technical Program Manager to support the Strategic Defense business line. This team builds software-defined command and control systems to protect the U.S. and allies from ballistic, hypersonic, and air-breathing threats, leveraging autonomy, AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion technology.
In this role, you will operate with minimal supervision to determine and develop approaches to achieve T&E goals and guide completion of test activities, with emphasis on hardware-in-the-loop lab-based ground tests. You will coordinate and support execution of testing at private and government-owned test ranges, deconflict test events across Anduril programs, and ensure safe operation of all testing efforts in accordance with established procedures.
Key responsibilities include: working closely with Engineering to discuss test results and collected data; performing initial test data analysis; supporting design and implementation of live-virtual-constructive (LVC) test scenarios; documenting test procedures and detailed reports for engineering teams and stakeholders; conducting testing of classified capabilities in unclassified settings while adhering to security protocols; and integrating T&E processes into the program lifecycle. You will serve as a government point of contact, coordinating with capability stakeholders on test objectives and shaping test scenario requirements to drive engineering priorities. The role emphasizes an iterative approach—design, test, field, refine—to drive continuous improvement. You may support both ground and flight test activities until the full team is in place.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related technical field from accredited institution
- Current Top Secret Security Clearance
- 10+ years of experience in technical program or project management, engineering management, engineering, or comparable skill, preferably supporting testing teams
- Strong technical background with familiarity in systems engineering and/or software development
- Ability to execute the full test engineering process for System-of-Systems (requirements, test planning, readiness reviews, safety reviews, test execution, test reporting) with little to no oversight
- Experience producing customer-facing test deliverables (test plans, test reports, data analysis) and demonstrated maturity to articulate deliverables to various stakeholders
- Experience as test conductor, test director, or similar role while executing testing
- Experience executing ground test campaigns in hardware and/or software integration lab environments, including stimulus generation and truth system integration
- Ability to understand new concepts quickly and solve problems across engineering areas
- Ability to work independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams in highly ambiguous, fast-paced environments with little to no oversight
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community, particularly Missile Defense Agency
- Experience in C++, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis
- Familiarity with live-virtual-constructive (LVC) frameworks and simulation environments
- Experience designing or operating hardware integration lab test benches, including bench fidelity assessment
- Ability and willingness to travel to test sites for extended periods to serve as on-site test execution lead, approximately twice per year
