Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to lead the development of command and control (C2) integration solutions for advanced military systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to define requirements, architect end-to-end solutions, and ensure seamless integration of complex distributed systems. Key responsibilities include designing and developing system components that meet stringent functional and performance requirements in complex environments; conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience; and working closely with hardware teams to integrate software and hardware components. You will also help define and document software engineering processes and practices while ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires 10+ years of post-graduate industry experience in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering. You should have hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience, with demonstrated expertise in developing automated test scripts and frameworks (Python, MATLAB, or similar). Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills are essential. You must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and be willing to travel up to 25% for test planning and execution, with the expectation of working onsite at headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA for the remainder of the time. Preferred qualifications include holding an existing U.S. Secret security clearance or higher, hands-on experience with complex robotic systems, familiarity with IP-based networks, experience with mission systems and communications components, and knowledge of aviation airworthiness considerations.
