Rippling is building an integrated platform that unifies HR, IT, and Finance for businesses. The Spend Platform team is responsible for giving companies real-time visibility and control over every dollar they spend, combining corporate cards, reimbursements, procurement, bill pay, and travel into a single workflow that connects directly to accounting and payroll.
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Spend Platform, you will craft exceptional platform solutions that benefit multiple teams and create seamless user experiences. Unlike point solutions that reconcile after the fact, Rippling enforces policy, approvals, and accounting in real time, which creates hard systems problems across payments, data consistency, permissions, and scale.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and building deeply integrated platform solutions that replace fragmented tooling
- Serving as a hands-on technical architect and liaison between product leadership, engineering leadership, and technical workstreams
- Tackling complex engineering challenges and devising innovative solutions that push technical boundaries
- Assuming clear ownership of projects and driving them to completion
- Mentoring and guiding other engineers through technical decisions and architecture
