Okta is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Technology Data and Intelligence (TDI) team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on designing and developing secure, scalable internal business solutions with emphasis on security, reliability, scalability, and intelligent automation.
You will be responsible for end-to-end technical delivery including design, configuration, development, testing, and automation of Salesforce-based solutions. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and engineers, you'll translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive projects from ideation through production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement secure, scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and platform configuration tools
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns
- Develop serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and cloud-native services to extend Salesforce capabilities
- Build intelligent automation solutions using Python and AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Amazon Bedrock
- Design conversational workflows, internal copilots, and AI agents that improve employee productivity and customer support operations
- Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and future-ready solutions
This position reports to the Manager of Customer Experience, TDI, and requires strong technical expertise in Salesforce development combined with modern cloud architecture and AI/ML integration patterns. The role is ideal for a senior engineer who thrives in building internal platforms that drive organizational efficiency and strategic business objectives.
