Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Quality Integration to architect and own the foundational systems that enable safe, rapid deployment of defense technology. You will work within the Software Platform Foundations team, designing sophisticated automated systems that enhance efficiency across the software development lifecycle and production pipelines.
In this role, you will own the architecture of how Anduril's Lattice OS platform ships to customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Build and implement robust automated systems for development, verification, and deployment, ensuring highest standards of quality and performance.
- Develop and own the reference environment where Lattice workflows are verified before release.
- Define, build, and maintain comprehensive full-stack test environments, including hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) systems, with deep understanding of software performance on physical hardware and resource optimization.
- Design and implement critical software interfaces and product features that facilitate seamless end-to-end testing across complex systems.
- Drive continuous integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines, establishing performance baselines and championing reliability engineering best practices.
- Define and implement AI-enabled automation to find and fix issues early in the development cycle without impacting developer experience.
- Champion quality across the organization.
You will work in a complex ecosystem spanning multi-stage release pipelines, cloud and robot environments, and the entire software stack where architectural decisions have concrete, measurable consequences. This role directly impacts how Lattice reaches customers safely and how operators trust the platform in the field.
Required: 15+ years building automated verification suites at scale; proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), SRE principles, and automated testing frameworks; deep experience with frontend and backend services at scale; hands-on HITL and SITL automation in production; expertise in regression testing, unit testing, and integration testing; Python proficiency; containerization and Terraform experience.
Preferred: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP); Docker/Kubernetes; NixOS; regulated industry or high-assurance systems experience.
