Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Quality Integration to lead the design and implementation of foundational systems that power the company's defense technology platform. You will own the architecture of Anduril's Integrated Continuous Release (ICR) pipeline, ensuring high-quality, trustworthy delivery of Lattice OS and related autonomous systems to military customers.
In this role, you will architect and build sophisticated automated verification systems across complex multi-stage release pipelines spanning cloud and robotic environments. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive full-stack test environments with hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) capabilities, designing critical software interfaces for end-to-end testing, and driving continuous integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. You will define and implement AI-enabled automation to identify and fix issues early in the development cycle, establish performance baselines, and champion reliability engineering best practices across the organization.
You will work at the intersection of development infrastructure and product quality, where architectural decisions have concrete, measurable consequences. Your work directly enables engineering teams to build and ship advanced autonomous systems safely and rapidly, ensuring operators can trust the platform in the field.
Required qualifications include 15+ years of experience building automated verification suites at scale, deep expertise in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline development (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), and SRE principles. You must have hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop automation in production environments, proficiency in Python, and professional experience with containerization and Terraform. Strong background with both frontend and backend services at scale is essential.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, NixOS experience, and background working in regulated industries with high-assurance systems.
