Enterpret is a customer feedback intelligence platform backed by Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Capital that transforms unstructured customer feedback into structured, queryable insights. The platform serves respected product teams at companies like Canva, Notion, Samsung, and Loom.
As Staff Software Engineer for Platform, you will own the Graph Platform end-to-end—including the knowledge graph, data systems, Model Repository, and inferencing/enrichment pipelines from design through production operation. This is a high-leverage role focused on scaling systems to support enterprise and product-led growth over the next 1–2 years.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the knowledge graph and data systems architecture, making sound long-term design decisions that are hard to reverse
- Upgrading the indexing layer (DynamoDB, ClickHouse, Snowflake) and inferencing layer (model hosting, pipelines) to deliver consistent latency and availability across enterprise and PLG clients regardless of data volume
- Diagnosing and fixing production issues at their root cause, establishing metrics, alerts, runbooks, and rollback procedures
- Making informed trade-offs between autoscaling-policy updates and system re-designs
- Driving cost vigilance on the company's most expensive cloud resources by establishing and reducing cost-per-feedback-record baselines
- Partnering with product engineers, PMs, and SRE on AWS infrastructure
- Mentoring engineers as the team grows
You will operate with first-principles thinking, leveraging and contributing to open-source tools, and working in an AI-native style at a higher pace without compromising platform integrity.
