Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the GTM Tools & Technology team, sitting at the intersection of Revenue Operations and internal software engineering. This is a builder role focused on owning the architecture and delivery of integrations across Grafana's go-to-market stack while building internal tooling to reduce SaaS spend.
Key responsibilities include architecting end-to-end integrations across Salesforce, Snowflake/BigQuery, Slack, Grafana, and billing/finance systems. You'll define and enforce integration patterns and API standards, lead incident response and root-cause analysis for integration failures, and partner with Revenue Operations to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions. You'll also evaluate third-party connectors and middleware against build-vs-buy criteria.
On the internal tooling side, you'll design and ship internal applications that replace SaaS point-solutions, reducing costs and consolidating workflows. You'll establish lightweight internal development practices including code standards, CI/CD, deployment patterns, and documentation norms. The role includes leveraging AI/LLM capabilities to accelerate tool development and automate operations work, with a clear deprecation roadmap tied to measurable SaaS spend reduction targets.
As a technical leader, you'll set the technical direction for how GTM systems share data, define canonical data models and source-of-truth ownership, conduct design reviews, and advocate for engineering rigor. You'll work closely with the Field Operations team and System Administrators within GTM Systems.
