Lyra Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead internal efficiency initiatives. The role focuses on embedding AI into daily workflows across the company—from engineering and operations to clinical support functions—enabling teams to spend less time on repetitive work and more time delivering mental health care.
You will work directly with internal teams to understand how work actually gets done, identify high-leverage opportunities, and design, build, ship, and iterate on AI-powered solutions in production. This is not a platform team role; you'll be embedded with users, sitting alongside them to understand their needs and measure real adoption and efficiency gains.
You own outcomes, not just code. Success is measured by adoption rates and measurable efficiency improvements, not just deployment. The role requires a deep understanding of how to translate internal workflows into technical solutions and the ability to iterate based on real-world usage.
