Phantom is a leading consumer crypto wallet and money app with 20M+ users, ranking #1 in Google Play Store finance category. You'll join as a Staff Frontend Engineer to own core trading flows across spot trading, perpetuals, and prediction markets.
In this role, you'll drive feature development across web, mobile (React Native), and browser extension platforms—including Phantom Extension, Phantom Terminal, and the mobile app. You'll take fullstack ownership from concept to production, working across the entire stack with high agency and bias toward action. You'll lead new initiatives to expand blockchain support and launch complementary products, directly interface with end-users and developers to gather feedback, and help shape team culture by raising the bar with each hire.
You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and trading teams to deliver intuitive, powerful discovery experiences for emerging asset classes. The role requires strong React/TypeScript/React Native expertise, 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, and demonstrated interest in open, community-driven platforms. A CS degree or equivalent practical experience is expected, along with trading systems familiarity and English proficiency.
Phantom has grown from a user need for seamless crypto access to onboarding 7M+ active users in three years. The company supports Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin with multi-chain expansion planned. You'll help shape the wallet experience—the critical first impression for new crypto users—and make crypto easier to navigate and discover.
