Parkade is a B2B2C SaaS platform modernizing private parking management for apartments, mixed-use buildings, and offices. The company has moved beyond manual processes like stickers and spreadsheets to deliver a fully automated, self-serve app for parking management, enforcement, and customer service. Recently closed Series A funding and is in hypergrowth mode with a lean, high-impact team. You will join as a Staff Software Engineer reporting directly to the VP of Engineering. This is a critical individual contributor role where your technical decisions have meaningful impact on the product and architecture. You'll work with a modern tech stack including TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Vite, and TanStack Router for the frontend, paired with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, TanStack Query, React Hook Form, Vitest, and Playwright for testing. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of hands-on front-end experience building commercial applications. You care deeply about product and user experience, think pragmatically about AI adoption for development work, and make sound architectural decisions informed by past successes and lessons learned. You thrive in fast-moving startup environments, are naturally curious, and continuously level up your skills. Bonus qualifications include having built something significant from the ground up, proficiency in Python or similar backend languages, experience with CI/CD infrastructure setup and improvement, and genuine interest in parking and efficient urban resource utilization.
