Salary: USD 168,675 - 229,900 / annual
Conga is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, DevOps to establish and employ Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) patterns for successful software solutions. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering and work 100% remotely from anywhere in the United States.

In this Staff-level role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms, establishing security best practices, implementing observability and monitoring systems, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes deployments, optimizing cloud costs, and driving Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with company-wide technical scope and influence over DevOps practices and standards.
You will work with AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and IBM Cloud platforms, design IAM constructs for least-privilege access, implement centralized logging and monitoring stacks, build Jenkins and Travis CI pipelines, manage Kubernetes and Helm deployments, administer Rancher for cluster management, optimize cloud spending, and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience designing cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and IBM Cloud
- Expertise in IAM constructs (custom managed policies, inline policies, permission sets, permission boundaries, Service Control Policies)
- Experience implementing observability and centralized logging stacks (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
- Proficiency building and deploying CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Travis CI
- Experience developing and maintaining Kubernetes Helm charts and managing version upgrades
- Experience deploying and administering Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management, including RBAC configuration
- Demonstrated ability designing and implementing cloud cost optimization strategies using AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and related tools
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code provisioning and deployments using Terraform
