They are building the largest fintech bank in Brazil, focused on eliminating bureaucracy and enabling business growth through technology.
In this Staff Software Engineer role on the Core Squad, you will architect, develop, and maintain critical banking infrastructure services (Auth, Onboarding, Messaging) with sub-100ms latency and 99.9%+ uptime requirements. You will evolve the GCP ecosystem, optimizing infrastructure and runtime across Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and IAM. Operating with a DevOps mindset, you'll strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automation, deployment processes, and infrastructure-as-code practices using Docker and Terraform.
You will lead the security lifecycle, including pentesting response, vulnerability remediation, hardening, Universal Authentication Framework (UAF) flows, and failsafe permission governance. You'll define engineering standards across the organization—quality, testing, code review, API design, and clear service boundaries in a microservices architecture. As a technical reference for the team, you'll support architectural decisions and elevate system performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
The role is 100% in-office at the São Paulo headquarters (Rua Pamplona, 145 - Cerqueira César).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced Python (Asyncio, FastAPI/Flask) with focus on clean, testable, sustainable code
- Solid GCP experience: Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, IAM
- Strong software engineering foundation: microservices, API design, event-driven/messaging architecture
- DevOps culture: CI/CD, Docker containers, Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Applied security: hands-on experience with OAuth2, OIDC, JWT in production authentication/authorization
PREFERRED:
- Cybersecurity/Blue Team experience, vulnerability remediation, control hardening
- High-transactionality systems and/or BACEN/SPI integration experience
- Go or Java knowledge for legacy systems and specialized services
