Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is seeking a Backend Engineer for its Spot trading platform. You will design major architectural components of applications including user interface, middleware, and infrastructure while ensuring enterprise-wide design standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and architecting backend systems for the Spot trading platform
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align architecture with business needs
- Compiling and implementing application development plans for new or existing systems
- Leading application development efforts and supervising design, testing, and modification stages
- Mentoring junior developers and providing technical support
- Writing and maintaining production code, including scripts and applications
- Performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migrations
- Running diagnostic tests and debugging procedures
- Documenting development processes, procedures, and standards
- Integrating emerging trends in application architecture into development projects

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- At least 8 years of software development experience, preferably in backend or distributed systems
- Proficiency in core Java and familiarity with Spring Framework
- Proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database
- Proficiency in distributed system design and familiarity with at least one messaging middleware and underlying design principles
- Ability to handle stress and quickly learn new knowledge
- Strong cross-team communication skills
