As a Staff Software Engineer on the Clinical Fit team, you will play a critical role in helping patients connect with providers and care pathways that best meet their needs. You'll help define the technical strategy for Zocdoc's evolution into a platform that powers smarter, more personalized healthcare experiences using data, experimentation, and intelligent decision-making.
Your responsibilities extend beyond individual projects. You'll influence technical direction across teams, navigate ambiguity, and partner deeply with Product, Data Science, Operations, and Engineering leadership to solve complex organizational challenges. You'll help identify opportunities, shape roadmaps, and drive initiatives with lasting impact.
Day-to-day work includes architecting and shipping code for key roadmap initiatives, building relationships with engineers and cross-functional partners, improving reliability and accuracy of core data and booking attribution systems, mentoring engineers through code reviews and pairing sessions, and exploring cutting-edge GenAI tools with an eye toward AI-generated insights and custom dashboards.
