This transformation requires solving critical challenges around agentic identity, extending or building new standards and protocols, and enabling agent-to-agent interactions including authorization, licensing, trust delegation, security, and monetization. You will be an exceptional Staff Engineer responsible for setting the vision and long-term architecture of various components in the Business Platform to support the agentic era. You'll own strategy, technical roadmap, and architecture while working across multiple teams. Your responsibilities include designing, implementing, and running critical tier-0 services, overseeing delivery, and owning operational KPIs such as availability and uptime. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with attention to detail and relentless drive for quality. You bring prior experience with a growth mindset to solve industry-wide problems. You're comfortable being hands-on while also providing high-level guidance to others. You mentor senior engineers to develop the next generation of engineering leadership and communicate effectively to influence other leaders. You have strong industry knowledge in identity management and bring best practices from the broader industry to Postman's Identity Platform. Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership for highly secure, scalable, reliable, and performant systems; identifying dependencies and reviewing key designs for consistency; leading multiple projects in collaboration with stakeholders; building an operational center of excellence with strong observability and focus on quality; partnering with senior engineering managers and product leaders on prioritization and roadmap; collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and create organizational impact; and mentoring senior engineers to build the next level of leadership.
