Shield AI is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Autonomy Capabilities team, responsible for developing autonomous behaviors within the company's industry-leading mission autonomy software stack. This role focuses on creating software solutions that evolve customer capabilities across a breadth of autonomous platforms, including the Anduril Fury, Northrop Grumman Talon, Shield AI V-Bat, and other first- and third-party autonomous vehicles.
The Autonomy Capabilities team comprises experts in software, robotics, control systems, optimization, and data analysis. As a Staff engineer, you will work on some of the hardest problems facing defense and aerospace customers, collaborating closely with specialist teams in software integration, hardware, and test engineering.
