Kaseya is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain key capabilities across enterprise software platforms. This role will contribute to secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions that support customers operating complex business and technology environments. You will be a hands-on engineer who owns significant technical work, collaborates across teams, and helps improve engineering quality and delivery. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software features for enterprise SaaS platforms and related product capabilities. You will build reliable and scalable services, APIs, platform components, integrations, and customer-facing capabilities. You will participate in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities. Collaboration with product management, QA, UX/UI, operations, and other engineers is essential to deliver roadmap commitments. You will contribute to improvements in performance, reliability, security, maintainability, automation, and observability. Following and helping improve agile development, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices is expected. Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance, code review, and knowledge sharing is a core part of this role. Clear communication of progress, risks, blockers, and technical trade-offs to team members and stakeholders is required. Required qualifications include minimum 7 years of experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, ability to lead and influence technical direction, and participation in design reviews and mentoring. You must have deep understanding of interconnected systems from a system architecture view, excellent knowledge of Win32 APIs, and solid knowledge of networking protocols like HTTP, TLS, and Web sockets. Experience with large cross-platform codebases, excellent understanding of concurrency and thread-related topics, and ability to utilize AI-assisted code development tools are essential. You should have developed code and software for macOS and/or Linux. Bonus skills include knowledge of development tools within the SDLC (Jira, Github, Jenkins), experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, and contributions to open-source software. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence at the Pune office three days per week.
