As a Staff Software Engineer, you will define and drive long-term engineering vision and strategy in collaboration with leadership and peers. Your responsibilities include leading large-scale engineering projects aligned with strategic goals, planning architectural strategies to support scalability, and coordinating high-impact initiatives across multiple teams. You'll temporarily embed in product teams to solve complex architectural challenges, provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers at all levels, and ensure best practices and code quality through technical leadership and reviews. You'll also evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of engineering advancements.
In your first month, you'll familiarize yourself with Fever's tech stack, infrastructure, and overall architecture while understanding the business vision and strategy. You'll also experience Fever's original events like Candlelight. By three months, you'll be solving difficult problems from architecture design through implementation and creating production-grade solutions for high-traffic systems. At six months, you'll own the technical roadmap for parts of the organization, mentor senior team members, and lead ambitious initiatives supporting Fever's growth.
You'll work on iOS and Android apps and web platforms serving a global audience, maintaining high engineering standards while supporting rapid scaling.
