Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology. This Staff Software Engineer role is part of a shared pipeline across three major engineering initiatives: CorpTech Platform, ArsenalOS, and CorporateOS.
CorpTech Platform serves as the internal engineering force multiplier, investing in data platforms, software infrastructure, QA and release excellence, ERP engineering, and AI infrastructure. ArsenalOS is the digital backbone of Anduril's hardware enterprise—the operational OS for the factory floor that enables high-rate production of systems like Roadrunner and Fury. CorporateOS supports Finance and Growth teams with enterprise systems and internal tools that directly impact the company's balance sheet.
In this role, you will own and deliver features for production systems such as Forge, Anduril's production platform. You'll contribute high-quality code, write comprehensive tests, and leverage frontier AI tooling for development. You'll partner directly with the factory floor to enable high-rate manufacturing, join on-call rotations for production support, and collaborate cross-functionally with systems architecture, product, design, and factory teams.
Required: 12+ years of software engineering experience building products in fast-paced environments. Deep expertise in full-stack web development (backend, frontend, or integration). Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Experience with large enterprise applications and high-availability systems. Proficiency with JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and frameworks like React or NextJS. U.S. Person status required due to export-controlled data access.
Preferred: Experience in hyper-growth startup environments with demonstrated success scaling development processes. Understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, MES, WMS, CRM). Eligibility for U.S. TS clearance. Manufacturing industry experience with hands-on assembly line exposure. Financial operations or accounting background.
