Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. This Staff Software Engineer role is part of a shared pipeline for teams building Anduril's core systems: CorpTech Platform, ArsenalOS, and CorporateOS. You will be hired into the pipeline and placed where your strengths fit best.
CorpTech Platform serves as the internal engineering force multiplier, investing in data platforms, software platforms, QA and release excellence, ERP engineering, and AI infrastructure. ArsenalOS is the digital backbone of Anduril's hardware enterprise—the operational OS for the factory floor that turns designs into high-rate production of systems like Roadrunner and Fury. CorporateOS supports Anduril's finance and accounting teams with first-class internal tools and enterprise systems.
In this role, you will own and deliver features for systems such as Forge, Anduril's production platform. You'll level up the team's applications through quality code contribution and comprehensive testing. You'll leverage frontier AI tooling for development and contribute to local AI harnesses. You'll partner directly with the factory floor to enable high-rate build of Anduril products and join an on-call rotation for software support of production systems. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with systems architecture, software product and design, factory systems, and production digital tools.
Required qualifications include 12+ years of software engineering experience building products in fast-paced environments, deep expertise in full-stack web development (backend, frontend, or integration), a degree in Computer Science or related technical field, experience with large enterprise applications requiring high availability, and proficiency with web technologies including JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and frameworks like React or NextJS. U.S. Person status is required due to export-controlled data access.
Preferred qualifications include experience in hyper-growth startup environments with demonstrated success scaling software development processes, understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, MES, WMS, CRM), eligibility for U.S. TS clearance, hands-on manufacturing or assembly line experience, and background in financial operations or accounting.
