Delinea is an identity security platform that discovers, identifies, and governs human and machine identities across cloud and traditional infrastructure. The company uses AI-powered intelligence to manage access across the entire identity lifecycle.
In this Staff Software Engineer role focused on AI Platform Integrations, you will build integrations that extend Delinea's discovery, identity, and governance capabilities onto third-party AI platforms where the company cannot sit directly in the request path. You'll work on extending existing Microsoft ecosystem integrations to new platforms, starting with Salesforce Agentforce, and eventually AWS and Google Cloud.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building integrations that leverage each platform's native identity signals (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Entra) and pass them to Delinea's identity layer
- Retrieving identity signals through provider APIs and implementing governance through attestation where direct enforcement isn't possible (similar to a cloud access security broker model)
- Contributing improvements to the shared discovery platform to expand coverage
- Reusing shared identity and policy building blocks across integrations rather than building platform-specific solutions
- Working on complex integration problems with limited direction
You'll report directly to the Director of Engineering, Securing AI, and work with a global team focused on making identity security more accessible and effective.
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years building production backend systems with significant third-party API integration
- Hands-on experience with connector/adapter patterns, OAuth, token exchange, and webhook/event-based ingestion
- Familiarity with at least one major AI or cloud platform ecosystem (Microsoft, AWS, or Salesforce)
- Strong backend language skills (C#, Go, Java, or Python)
- Ability to solve complex integration problems independently
Desirable experience includes SaaS or security integration product background (CASB, SSPM), familiarity with AI agent platforms (Copilot, Agentforce, Bedrock AgentCore), or security/identity domain knowledge.
