- Shape reusable engineering patterns and standards for AI-enabled workflows across the organization
- Build automated evaluation pipelines to measure agent reasoning accuracy and safety
Required experience:
- Strong backend or platform engineering background in production environments
- Solid judgment across APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and service design
- Experience integrating internal and third-party platforms
- Ability to work in ambiguity and translate emerging needs into robust platform components
- Strong focus on quality, reliability, and developer experience
Helpful but not required:
- AI infrastructure or orchestration experience
- Background in regulated industries (fintech, healthtech) where safety and compliance are core
Tech stack: Java, Spring Boot, JOOQ, event-driven architecture (SNS/SQS, Kafka), MySQL/PostgreSQL, AWS (EKS, Terraform, Docker), DataDog, Rollbar, GitHub CI/CD. The team values rapid iteration—new engineers are encouraged to deploy to production within their first two weeks.
