Zscaler is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join the AI Security department in Bangalore on a hybrid basis (3 days/week in office). You will own full-stack features end-to-end, spanning React UI, Spring Boot microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building full-stack features across React, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes/AWS infrastructure
- Designing REST APIs and event-driven Kafka services within a microservices architecture
- Owning features end-to-end, including logging, observability, and cross-functional collaboration with UX and product teams
- Leveraging AI/ML technologies to optimize outcomes and drive innovation
You should have:
- 5+ years of enterprise software development experience
- Strong Java/Spring Boot proficiency and JavaScript/TypeScript skills with React
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs in microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms
- Familiarity with Kubernetes deployments and core AWS services
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience securing or positioning AI-driven solutions
Preferred qualifications include experience developing security guardrails for AI/ML orchestration and LLM applications, building enterprise security/networking products with PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch, and unit testing with React Testing Library, Jest, or Mocha.
