Filevine is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join its engineering organization. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on building and maintaining the infrastructure, reliability, and operational excellence of Filevine's Legal Operating Intelligence System (LOIS)—a unified platform that brings together data, documents, workflows, and teams for modern legal work.
In this role, you will own the design and implementation of systems that ensure Filevine's platform operates at scale with high availability and performance. You will work across the full stack of infrastructure, from cloud architecture and deployment pipelines to monitoring, observability, and incident response. Your responsibilities will include architecting resilient systems, establishing SRE best practices, mentoring junior engineers, and driving operational improvements that reduce toil and increase reliability.
As a Staff-level engineer, you will have significant technical scope and influence. You will guide architectural decisions, establish standards for reliability and performance, and lead cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams. You will be expected to think strategically about long-term infrastructure needs as Filevine scales, while also being hands-on with implementation and problem-solving.
You will collaborate closely with product engineering teams to understand their needs, help them build reliable systems, and share SRE knowledge across the organization. You will also own the observability and monitoring strategy, ensuring the team has visibility into system health and can respond quickly to issues.
This is a fully remote role, ideal for an experienced SRE or infrastructure engineer who is passionate about building systems that scale reliably and who enjoys mentoring and influencing others through technical excellence.
