Graphcore, a globally recognized leader in AI computing systems and part of the SoftBank Group, is opening a new AI Engineering Campus in Bengaluru. This role is part of the Silicon design team's verification function, responsible for ensuring RTL (Register Transfer Level) designs match architecture specifications for Graphcore's advanced semiconductors and data center hardware.
As a Staff Silicon Verification Engineer, you will lead verification activities across the organization, ensuring quality silicon delivery. Key responsibilities include verification planning and specification, closure of functional coverage metrics, providing architectural feedback, test generation, failure diagnosis and triage, and contributing to shared verification infrastructure. You will work across multiple teams and sites, ensuring effective communication between locations.
The role requires deep expertise in verification processes within CPU and ASIC environments, with proficiency in SystemVerilog, Python, C++, and Linux. You should have proven leadership and planning skills, demonstrated ability to work across teams and programming languages to diagnose complex issues, and significant industry verification experience.
Desirable qualifications include UVM, SVA, assembly languages, LLVM/GCC, DVCS (Git), SGE or other DRMS, XML/XPath/XSLT, and web technologies (HTML/DOM, JavaScript, SQL). The ideal candidate is highly motivated, a self-starter, and an excellent team player capable of managing complex technical challenges in a fast-paced AI infrastructure environment.
