Graphcore is seeking a Staff QA Engineer to build quality foundations for Kubernetes systems powering next-generation AI compute. You will validate the workload management stack for new AI accelerator hardware, ensuring Kubernetes integrations are robust, scalable, and production-ready. In this role, you will design automated test suites, build system and integration tests, and improve CI/CD quality practices. You'll debug issues across Kubernetes, infrastructure, and applications, shaping how accelerators are scheduled, orchestrated, and used across distributed environments. Your work will test the systems that make complex AI compute infrastructure reliable for real users. You will join the Workload Management team, working closely with software engineers and infrastructure specialists in a hands-on, systems-focused environment with clear technical ownership. Quality is built early here, not checked at the end. You will influence test strategy, validation plans, and automation practices across the development lifecycle, mentor other QA engineers, and help turn complex systems into dependable products through open technical discussion and evidence-based decisions. Required qualifications include strong Python programming experience focused on automation and test engineering, hands-on experience with Robot Framework or similar automation frameworks, and experience testing cloud-native, containerized, or distributed systems. You need strong Linux understanding and confidence debugging across multiple system layers, experience with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, and the ability to define quality standards, improve test coverage, and mentor other QA engineers. The role is hybrid (2-3 days per week in office) based in Gdańsk, Poland. Compensation is PLN 350,700–474,400 annually, subject to alignment with responsibilities and duties.
