Penguin Solutions (Nasdaq: PENG), an AI Factory Platform Company, is seeking a Staff Product Manager based in Taiwan to lead the SMART Memory (DRAM/Flash) product line. This is a strategic role combining product management, go-to-market execution, and cross-functional leadership across hardware, software, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product strategy for SMART Memory portfolio through market trend analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights
- Manage product line P&L, pricing strategy, roadmap, and sales enablement materials
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) and product change notification (PCN) processes; engage suppliers on roadmap alignment
- Coordinate between HQ strategy, Penang manufacturing, and Taipei R&D to streamline product development and time-to-market
- Drive go-to-market and return-to-market (RTM/GTM) execution; support sales team with technical expertise, pre-sales engagement, and field application engineering (FAE) coordination
- Collaborate with operations to manage material planning, sales forecasting, and order fulfillment
- Create and support product marketing materials, content, and event participation
- Analyze profitability and drive revenue targets across the SMART Memory product portfolio
This role requires deep collaboration with sales, marketing, operations, procurement, and R&D teams across multiple geographies. You will own the full product lifecycle from strategy through launch and maturity, with accountability for both commercial success and technical execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum: B.S. degree (MBA desirable)
- 5–10 years of sales or product management experience in high-tech industry
- Knowledge of DRAM/Flash memory products and prior experience in memory module houses, distributors, IPC (memory), or consumer memory segments
- Experience with product lifecycle management and go-to-market planning
- Strong proficiency in generative AI tools and agentic frameworks applied to business problems
- Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to execute with limited resources across multiple concurrent tasks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive cross-functional coordination
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for internal stakeholder management
- Familiarity with industrial memory/storage ecosystem (market dynamics, suppliers, competitors, customers)
- English communication proficiency; TOEIC 785+ preferred
- Based in Taiwan; minimal travel required
