Bumble Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Trust & Safety to lead the design and scaling of systems that prevent harm, protect members, and empower responders across its dating and social platforms (Bumble Date, BFF, and Badoo). You will own and evolve the Trust & Safety product strategy and roadmap, leading high-impact initiatives across safety tooling, abuse prevention, content moderation, identity verification, and platform integrity. This role sits at the intersection of product, data science, engineering, policy, operations, and legal—balancing user experience with risk mitigation at global scale. You'll define success metrics that account for user trust, operational resilience, and safety outcomes, and use qualitative insights, behavioral data, and experimentation to inform product decisions. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the Trust & Safety product strategy and roadmap evolution - Leading roadmaps from ideation through implementation, including proactive and reactive abuse detection, scam and fraud prevention, reporting, blocking, and moderation systems - Partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Legal, and Operations to deliver scalable solutions - Defining clear success metrics that balance safety, user experience, and business impact - Using data and experimentation to drive product decisions - Driving cross-functional alignment on policy implementation and risk mitigation - Championing user trust, transparency, and fairness in all product decisions The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building products that protect people and reduce harm, with the ability to influence stakeholders across legal, policy, operations, and data science functions. REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives - Demonstrated experience shipping products in Trust & Safety, platform integrity, risk, fraud, abuse prevention, moderation, or adjacent domains - Strong analytical skills and fluency with experimentation, metrics, and data-driven decision-making - Experience working closely with engineering teams on technically complex systems; comfort with infrastructure, ML models, and risk systems - Proven ability to define product roadmaps end-to-end from ideation to execution, balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision, and user experience with compliance and risk mitigation - Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Policy, Ops, Data Science) with excellent written and verbal communication PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: - Direct experience in social media, marketplace, UGC, or two-sided platform environments - Experience working with machine learning models for detection, ranking, or classification systems - Familiarity with global safety regulations (Online Safety Act, DSA, platform liability frameworks) - Experience designing reporting, appeals, or enforcement workflows - Background building internal tools for moderation or operations teams - Passion for online safety, digital well-being, and building equitable platforms
