Wealthsimple is Canada's leading financial innovator serving over 4 million Canadians with a full suite of financial products including managed investing, trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, and spending/saving tools. The company holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. The Consolidation team owns the first mile of the Wealthsimple relationship: onboarding, the homescreen and first layer of the app, and the Tiers program (Premium and Generation). The mandate is to get new clients funded and consolidating more of their financial life with Wealthsimple. This year's fastest-growing segment is high-net-worth clients, with strong organic pull and continued net deposit growth. Winning larger, more complex relationships means serving clients who expect the level of service, product depth, and recognition typically provided by private bankers. In this Staff Product Manager role, you will: - Define product vision and strategy for winning and serving high-net-worth clients, owning the roadmap to execution - Lead planning, development, launch, and iteration of a step change in the Tiers program—creating service, product depth, and recognition that makes clients choose Wealthsimple as their primary financial institution - Build personalized experiences that compel clients to consolidate by understanding their current financial life and making the in-product case for moving it to Wealthsimple - Work across the funding and consolidation funnel end-to-end, from first session through fully consolidated relationship, crafting incentives, onboarding journeys, and product experiences - Support a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists - Partner deeply with other product teams and departments (Marketing, Operations, Client Experience, Legal, Compliance) - Help elevate the Product Management practice and create an inclusive team culture You will work in a hybrid environment with over 1,500 employees across North America. Benefits include top-tier health benefits and life insurance, long-term group savings with employer match, 20 vacation days plus 4 wellness days and unlimited sick/mental health days, and the ability to work outside Canada for up to 90 days per year. REQUIREMENTS: - Years of shipping products people love across customer-facing and platform work; you've owned a product or major chunk of one and know how to lead complex cross-functional projects without losing momentum - A bias to ship: preference for putting work in front of clients quickly to learn and iterate rather than endless debate - Technical fluency to keep up with engineers: ability to discuss architecture and tradeoffs, and hunger to learn what you don't know to make better decisions - A genuine belief in financial inclusion and building products that give more people access to financial freedom - Bonus: Experience building, shipping, iterating, and growing products from 0 to 1 over multiple years - Systems thinking: ability to distill messy use cases into simple, elegant solutions - Strong technical partnership with engineering to turn logical design into real technical architecture - Comfort in ambiguity: ability to extract actual problems and real insights from raw, messy data - Rigorous thinking: systematic problem-solving without skipping steps - Scrappy mindset: willingness to wear different hats (business cases, workflow mapping, vendor/regulator negotiation) - Clear communication: ability to simplify complexity without losing what matters - Collaborative, empathetic leadership: ability to work with diverse stakeholders and ensure all voices are heard
