Brex is a global intelligent finance platform serving tens of thousands of companies with corporate cards, banking, spend management, and AI-native automation. The Card organization is a core revenue engine, and this Staff Product Manager role owns strategy for operational spend across the card portfolio.
You will shape the strategic direction and execution of Brex's purchasing-card experiences, spanning issuance, lifecycle, authorizations, controls, servicing, and economics. Your scope includes finding portfolio-level opportunities to grow card volume, share of wallet, and recurring revenue while maintaining authorization performance, reliability, and customer trust.
Key responsibilities include: owning the card-program strategy for operational spend; identifying and executing on portfolio-level growth opportunities; building purchasing-card experiences for critical vendors and operational workflows; connecting payment fundamentals (issuance, authorizations, controls, servicing, economics) into a cohesive strategy; leveraging AI to monitor program health and automate servicing; aligning Card Infrastructure, Spend Provisioning, Risk, Operations, Engineering, Design, and GTM teams on cross-stack execution; and driving metrics including card volume, recurring revenue, authorization performance, reliability, and workflow adoption.
You will work across multiple workstreams without reducing strategy to a feature roadmap, demonstrating strong systems thinking across infrastructure, operations, economics, and customer experience. This is a scaled-growth role with direct commercial impact.
The role is based in Seattle (with flexibility to work from San Francisco or New York offices). Brex operates a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), with up to four weeks per year of fully remote work available.
